We all have personal memories from all aspects of our life but we are all different in how we recall and keep those memories alive.
Some people are avid diary writers and are able to look back to specific dates to “remember” the events of that day or event.
For others, a photographic album is the triggers for reviewing the past and remembering times gone by.
Some are even more fortunate and have been able to turn their memories into a book. That book may remain as a handwritten, priceless volume, or a privately published short run for friends and family or even a bestseller for wide public consumption.
However, for every organised memory individual there are probably many whose memories are still just that, memories in our heads that need help and coaxing into the public domain.
Our outreach volunteers are here to help in all cases so that your memories are recorded for the benefit og future generations to read, learm and enjoy.
This web site is here to support this process. Our process has four steps
- Collection
- Documenting
- Recording
- Publishing
and our volunteers are here to help your through each step in this process
